Last 27th of October, MCs Joanna Alvarado and Dr. Yair Barrera participated at the Third National Conference of Engineering and Technologies for Sustainable Growth (CONAINTE) hosted in the city of Mixquiahuala Hidalgo on the premises of the “Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Occidente del Estado de Hidalgo” (ITSOEH) presenting the Introduction to the FIWARE technological Platform Workshop. The Workshop’s audience made up by students were able to learn the basics of the FIWARE platform. Aspects such as its main components, steps needed to deploy an Orion Context Broker instance along with the procedure and perform queries through the Insomnia REST Client. The workshop provided attendees an opportunity to learn and interact with FIWARE trainers which led to future collaborations based on the various expressions of interest to further use FIWARE in their personal projects.
